Melissa P.Registered Dental Hygienist
We really are a family here at Crown Dentistry and we want our patients to feel like part of that family. My goal is to build long-lasting relationships with our patients because I really do enjoy sharing in their success and happiness.
But that’s just one of the reasons I love working at Crown Dentistry. The other reason is our outstanding patient care. As a graduate of the American Institute of Technology, and a licensed RDH through the California Dental Board, my primary concern is prevention. I educate patients on the proper way to brush and floss as well as offering guidance on over-the-counter products that might help you take care of your teeth. I will make sure your teeth are their cleanest so they can stay healthy and free of periodontal disease.
When I am not making smiles shine, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Scott, and our dog, Bibby at home. We also enjoy movies, visiting with family and friends, and traveling as much as possible.
Rose L.Registered Dental Hygienist
Although I work at Crown Dentistry on a part-time basis, I have a full-time dedication to the care I give our wonderful patients. I have been in the dental field for the last 33 years, starting out as a dental assistant and becoming a dental hygienist in 2001. I graduated from Foothill College, where our RDH class placed second in national boards!
Not only will I clean your teeth, I will also do my best to educate and assist you in making decisions that lay a healthy foundation for oral health. My goal is to ensure that my patients understand how periodontal disease happens and the manner in which we can prevent it. I truly enjoy my work of contributing to your healthy smile. One of my favorite things about being your hygienist is getting to know YOU!
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time my husband and traveling. I also enjoy the time I spend with my granddaughter and my three grown sons.
Leann A.Registered Dental Assistant
I received a degree in nursing in 1997, but I was quickly disheartened by the role nurses played in the medical field at that time. When I had the opportunity to join a very well established dental practice and apply my medical knowledge to dentistry, I jumped at the chance. Dr. Chan also worked at that practice. We have worked together ever since, and I couldn’t be happier. I love the people I work with and we have all become like family.
I also love our patients here at Crown Dentistry. Patient care and comfort are always my priority. The connections we make and the relationships we establish with our patients are truly remarkable!
I have a wonderful husband named Troy and two Boxer dogs named Tess and Duke that have hilarious personalities. I love to watch my husband race his car, and together, we enjoy jetskiing and playing pool.
Amy M.Dental Assistant
I graduated from Anthem College in 2012 and I am so thrilled to be working at Crown Dentistry. We further our education with yearly ADA training classes. I am currently certified in PALS and ACLS. I also love learning from my mentor, Leann, who is awesome!
I look forward to coming to work every day and seeing the smiling faces of my coworkers; we are such a great team. But the biggest thrill for me is giving my patients the ultimate experience – I want them to feel as if they have come to Disneyland. You really won’t find another practice like ours!
I married my best friend Dustin in May 2014. We have three dogs: two Labs and a Teacup Yorkie, who runs the house. In my free time, I enjoy going back home to see my family and all my childhood friends.
Tasha T.Office Administrator
For almost 10 years, my work life has revolved around dentistry. I have been active in every area of the dental practice, from chairside assisting to front office administration. This experience really helps me make sure Dr. Chan’s practice is operating smoothly and efficiently. My favorite part of the job, though, is interacting with patients, getting to know them, understanding their dental needs, making sure they understand the purpose of their next visit, and helping them with financial planning for their care.
I have studied at both Fresno City College and Kaplan College, and since graduation, I have been dedicated to helping patients fit dentistry into their day-to-day lives. Now I have the pleasure of working with a team that is just as committed to both patients and dentistry as I am! We are not only co-workers; we are family.
When I am not helping patients at Crown Dentistry, I volunteer at various women’s and children’s shelters. I also love spending time with my family, listening to live music, and traveling.
Destiny M.Front Office Coordinator
I started out as a patient of Crown Dentistry in 2010, and I was fortunate enough to join the team in August of 2014. My smiling face is the first thing our patients see when they walk in the door to our practice. My goal is to make our patients feel at home, starting from their first visit. I am here to accommodate our patients’ needs, to do whatever I can to make the scheduling and financial side of their visit as easy as possible. The best part of my job is building relationships with patients and knowing that we can improve their confidence, and subsequently, their lives. It is the best feeling to know that I helped someone reach their oral health goals. I knew I wanted to be a part of this practice because I saw the high personal level of care that each one of the staff gives to our patients, every day. When I am not at work, I enjoy music, traveling, hiking, cooking, and being with my dog, Jane. My favorite place to be is by the ocean or up in the mountains.
