Rose L.Registered Dental Hygienist
Although I work at Crown Dentistry on a part-time basis, I have a full-time dedication to the care I give our wonderful patients. I have been in the dental field for the last 33 years, starting out as a dental assistant and becoming a dental hygienist in 2001. I graduated from Foothill College, where our RDH class placed second in national boards!
Not only will I clean your teeth, I will also do my best to educate and assist you in making decisions that lay a healthy foundation for oral health. My goal is to ensure that my patients understand how periodontal disease happens and the manner in which we can prevent it. I truly enjoy my work of contributing to your healthy smile. One of my favorite things about being your hygienist is getting to know YOU!
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time my husband and traveling. I also enjoy the time I spend with my granddaughter and my three grown sons.
Megan C.Registered Dental Hygienist
I worked as a Dental Assistant, briefly, while I worked on my degree to get into the Dental Hygiene program. I graduated and became a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in 2015. I can honestly, and truly, say Dental Hygiene is my passion in life and I’m so blessed to have found it. Working for Dr. Chan and the rest of the “Crown Crew” has been an amazing, educational, and personally developing experience.
Aside from being a Hygienist, I’m a total Dog Mom to an eight-year-old Rat Terrier and love all animals. I recently became a Jacksonville Jaguars fan. I enjoy participating in recreational softball, hiking, kayaking, spending time with people, running, traveling, and baking. Go Jags!
Leann A.Registered Dental Assistant
I received a degree in nursing in 1997, but I was quickly disheartened by the role nurses played in the medical field at that time. When I had the opportunity to join a very well established dental practice and apply my medical knowledge to dentistry, I jumped at the chance. Dr. Chan also worked at that practice. We have worked together ever since, and I couldn’t be happier. I love the people I work with and we have all become like family.
I also love our patients here at Crown Dentistry. Patient care and comfort are always my priority. The connections we make and the relationships we establish with our patients are truly remarkable!
I have a wonderful husband named Troy and two Boxer dogs named Tess and Duke that have hilarious personalities. I love to watch my husband race his car, and together, we enjoy jetskiing and playing pool.
Amanda B.Registered Dental Assistant
Since 2012 I have had the pleasure of working in the dental field, mostly as a Registered Dental Assistant. I have experience from working in clinics, private offices, and even for the correctional facilities throughout California. I absolutely love how rewarding dentistry is. Anything to see the gratitude on a patient’s face makes working in this field worth every minute. I received my degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011, and quickly got back into school to go into the dental field.
Aside from work, I enjoy spending most of my free time with family and friends. I am an avid camper/hiker/kayaker. I am a huge sports fanatic, so I really get to connect with a lot of patients who love sports as much as I do. I enjoy traveling as well as just being at home with my 2 Doberman Pinchers, Chuey and Blue. I also am a freelance make-up artist, so I spend a lot of time traveling for special occasions.
I’ve been a part of Crown Dentistry and working alongside Dr. Chan since January 2017 and have loved being around coworkers who have easily turned into family. As well as getting to know the patients has been amazing, they turn into family so quickly.
Tasha T.Office Administrator
For almost 15 years, my work life has revolved around dentistry. I have been active in every area of the dental practice, from chairside assisting to front office administration. This experience really helps me make sure Dr. Chan’s practice is operating smoothly and efficiently. My favorite part of the job, though, is interacting with patients, getting to know them, understanding their dental needs, making sure they understand the purpose of their next visit, and helping them with financial planning for their care.
I have studied at both Fresno City College and Kaplan College, and since graduation, I have been dedicated to helping patients fit dentistry into their day-to-day lives. Now I have the pleasure of working with a team that is just as committed to both patients and dentistry as I am! We are not only co-workers; we are family.
When I am not helping patients at Crown Dentistry, I volunteer at various women’s and children’s shelters. I also love spending time with my family, listening to live music, and traveling.
